What, Why & Where
The What
Allies Outside is a social advocacy group bringing a new purpose to the outdoor shooting sports by building a network of proud partners and strong allies in the industry in hopes to create more acceptance and long term trade growth
The Why
Lost friendships, and broken families due to differing political ideologies, promotion of extremist attitudes and practices within the industry, and exclusion of the LGBTQ+ & POC community have contributed to the loss of interest in the industry. We're here to do our best to change all of that
The Where
Allies Outside is based out of Rockford, MI, but aims to impact hunting cultures across the country
Our founder, best known as Uncle Dave, is an old cis-gendered white dude with over 35 years of hunting experience, a deep seeded concern for our planet's health, our impact on nature, and an intense disgust for those who can't seem to respect other humans because of bullshit biases against diverse religions, races, political beliefs and sexual orientations. You are most likely to find Uncle Dave in the wood shop crafting his hand made hunting tools, in the woods chasing wild turkeys, (preferably somewhere cold) or in someone's kitchen eating way too much food with family and friends.
